Exotic Dancers For Cancer Raises Over 7000 Dollars
Last night was the 4th annual Exotic Dancers for Cancer event hosted at The Drake Show lounge in Vancouver, BC. The Exotic Dancers for Cancer (or ED4C) hosts various charity events annually to raise money for Breast Cancer research and this year they were able to raise a minimum of $7000 during Sunday night’s charity event.
According to an early article on CKNW’s website Trina Ricketts (Spokesperson for the ED4C) said, "We definitely surpassed our total for last year. We are over 7 thousand. We don’t have a completely final tally. There’s a few auction items that still need to be picked up but we’re definitely over 7 thousands."
The proceeds of this event will be split up among a former dancer who is fighting cervical cancer and Rethink Breast Cancer. The ED4C raised the amount from various items during the event; items donated for the event were auctioned off in a silent auction, 50/50 draws as well as other mini-fundraisers helped the ED4C obtain an excellent amount. There was also a great help from across provinces from people whom donated money but unable to attend.
Very large congratulations to those who helped out in raising this amount of money for a very worthy cause!
