Well I thought of something I can do in my spare time and something that I do miss doing. What is it? Drawing! That’s right I thought I would draw small little images of various cartoon characters that it seems people of a younger generation either have never heard of or just don’t remember.
Can you name these 4 cartoon characters and what show they were from?
These were all drawn by myself in the past couple days, the pictures don’t take more than 15 minutes to do and unforturnately they are not done by memory. For me to draw I have to be able to see what it is I am drawing. I am sure with practice I would be eventually able to draw by memory and that would be fun.
One of my childhood dreams was to work for the animation department of Disney! I took a couple of courses in elementary that had to do with cartooning but it never really went anywhere. I was hoping one day to go to the Disney School that is in Ontario (it was at the time anyway). That would have been cool!

Well, I’m 27 so ofcourse I remember all those characters. Darkwink Duck, Woody Wood Pecker, both from shows that carried their own names, and Buster and Babs Bunny from Tiny Toons.

Oh I like that idea, I signed up and drew a little picture, I’m horrible when it comes to using a mouse. Too bad I couldn’t upload one of my little drawings!

Very nice! I really miss Woody Woodpecker as that cartoon doesn’t seem to be on at all anymore. I tried buying a cheap DVD of WW for my kids to see what it was all about but unfortunately all of the episodes were from way back in the day before I was around.
Another favorite of mine was Tom and Jerry. Looking forward to more drawings!

Oh yea.. Tom and Jerry! I’ll definately have to draw them! I also just did up Wakko from Animaniacs. Buddy at work wanted it for his Messenger Display Image.
