A Light Snack

Written By Tyler Ingram on Mar 14, 2011

Today is the first day of our March spring break and although the weather is alright, Robyn and I decided to head off for a little walk around Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver.

I of course brought my camera with me, just in case there was some cool thing to photograph. Well it seems that Robyn and I were in luck. There were a couple of bald eagles flying around and we manage to get close to one who had a snack.

Eagle

You can sort of see it in his (or her) talons. I think it as a seagull, but he (or she) definitely doesn’t look like they will share.

After I moved around to get a better look (and photograph), he took off around the bend to another set of trees. Guess either me taking lots of photos annoyed him, or the dog that was sniffing around the base of his perch was irking him.

It’s nice to be able to get some decent photos of a bald eagle. Usually they are a few hundred feet up in the air.
