Many places on Vancouver Island I would still love to go see too, especially the northern tip, the Queen Charlottes etc. I have more photos/posts to do, I'm a bit behind with sorting photos. @VancityAllie – I like traveling locally, its relatively less expensive (somewhat) and there are LOTS of places I have never seen yet I know are so beautiful in our Province. Many places on Vancouver Island I would still love to go see too, especially the northern tip, the Queen Charlottes etc.

Personally I wouldn't waste your time going to Mt Washington in the summer. It's pretty but you're much better going in the winter for some pow-pow-powder! :) I love Mt Washington for boarding. But going in the summer is pretty much like going to Cypress or Grouse in the summer. Hornby is so gorgeous! Glad you had a chance to check it out. More people should take vacations like you guys! travel local, see our beautiful province, and support local tourism! I've never been to Sidney. I guess Andrew and I really lucked out because it was open when we were there. Pity we had just had breakfast and weren't hungry yet, so we didn't eat there. We had tea later at the Blethering Place. I hope you get to see killer whales on the whale watching tour. I hoped we were going to see some on the ferry, but only saw porpoises instead.
