Blogroll Shout Out And Creating Breast Cancer Research Awareness

Writen By Tyler Ingram on Mar 06, 2008

Derek Semmler has posted his February earnings for his blog. A trend I’ve noticed among various bloggers is that private ad sales are usually the best income generator. It would be nice to be able to come close to what Derek makes in a month on his blog. Perhaps one day!

Local Vancouverite and Canuck fan Rebecca of Miss604 talks about what services you can use as an alternative to YouTube when you’re looking for good quality video that provides a bit more professionalism with their presentation.

Good ol’ buddy Rod talks about the recent passing away of Jeff Healey from cancer. I didn’t even know Jeff had cancer, but it is a shame. Rod also keeps track of the Vancouver Canucks with his live blogging when the games are on. Perhaps the Canucks will win tonight’s game!

New to my blogroll is Sean Hagen (a fellow employee at work). He has been working on his custom built blog and it is nice to see another person create something from nothing.

If you happen to be a Facebook junky and living in the Metro Vancouver area, check out the group for the Exotic Dancers for Cancer (ED4C) which is having their 5th annual event held in Vancouver (April 4th) and Victoria (April 6th). They raise money for Breast Cancer Research here in BC and help promote awareness for those affected by Breast Cancer. If you’re looking to show you’re support but cannot make it to one of the events I am sure a money donation would be greatly accepted. For more details visit their Facebook group.

  • Tyler, thanks for the link love and comment. There is no doubt that you can get to where I am at with my earnings (and beyond) so keep up the great work!

  • Thanks Derek, appreciate the kind words! I’m trying. Looking for new things to try out, trying to get better at writing more… frequently. I still enjoy it so that’s that counts right?
