You can win one of two lenses from Tamron: 28-300mm or the 18-270mm. The 18-270mm is geared towards camera bodies that feature a cropped sensor (such as my Canon XSi with a 1.6x crop), whereas the 28-300mm is geared towards the full-frame camera bodies. Either lens would be fun to have in my collection, the 18-270mm has an image stabilizer feature would is great for “shaky hands” though the 28-300mm has a macro feature so yo can get up and personal with the bug or even flower world.

Survey Says….

Originally I had my contest set up so that people would have to link back to me and write a brief review. After one week I had only 2 entries and I did not think that was enough, nor what I expected. After someone mentioned that they could not enter the contest because they did not have a blog or access to one, I changed and extended the contest another week and asked that they only need to leave a comment to be entered. This change received more comments and helped hype the contest a bit better.

The next contest I run will be similar, you’ll just need to leave a comment and you’re entered. This seems to get the best results for generating hype about something. Creating link backs can be a bit trickier, after all this blog is a learning tool of mine and this has been a bit of a learning experience on my part.

If I had perhaps a cooler gadget than the Samsung Bluetooth Stereo Headset (which I thought was pretty cool) perhaps that would attract more people. I guess not everyone wants something free, weird huh? From my experience I always thought people loved to win free stuff even if they had no use for it. I guess this contest disproves that theory of mine.

If you wanted to win a free electronic gadget, what sort of gadget would you want to win? MP3 player? Computer hardware? Software? Or do you just not like free stuff?

Why would I want to give away such a great prize?

I was given the headset (along with a Samsung MP3 player) as part of a marketing campaign a little while ago and after trying out this headset I found that I really had no use for it. I still prefer my Apple iPod Nano to the Samsung T10. Sure the Samsung has Bluetooth capabilities which allows you to use devices such as this headset, but unfortunately I will be sticking to my iPod Nano.

The Prize!

The Samsung Bluetooth Stereo Headset (SBH170) is the style that wraps around the back of your head and rests on your ears. The Bluetooth capability of the headset I thought was pretty cool. I could walk away from the Samsung T10 at about 10 feet and still get the music to play though them without quality loss. You can also use the headset for Wireless Phone Calls and as a Remote Control. It also comes with an AC adapter so you can easily charge up the Li-Ion battery which can allow you up to 10 hours of talk/music time with 170 hours of standby time. Pretty impressive huh?

How do I win this awesome prize?
