Since I've gotten more into Photography the more I found my computer started to bog down when it came to the post-process portion of the hobby. Which means my computer has significantly slowed down since I've been shooting with RAW files. Some people might not have issues out there with the post-production work while working with RAW files but, when you shoot over 600 photos at a time, all in … Continue Reading »

Chances are if you a frequent surfer of the online world you have probably come across the term Twitter. You may or may not know what Twitter is all about but I for one find the service really useful, not only to have another way of communicating with other people in my industry but also to find out the new online trends or even world happenings.
I find that I have … Continue Reading »

In today's world of electronic gadgets one such gadget I find people talking about more or even saying they want is a portable GPS unit for their vehicle. Well prior to this I have never used a GPS unit before though I was able to see a Garmin in action when Robyn and I were in Minnesota this year. I was curious as to how other vehicle GPS units perform … Continue Reading »

Alright so the BlackBerry Curve has been on the market for some time now, but that doesn't mean it isn't the new hotness when you compare it to the Blackberry 7250 that it is replacing. That's right my employer has upgraded my old school, wide BlackBerry 7250 with a sleek, thinner more hip looking 8330 Curve and at no additional cost to me!
But Tyler, doesn't that mean you have two … Continue Reading »

Ever since I got my Apple 3G iPhone I have been reluctant to Jailbreak it because I was worried about bricking the phone. I had to renew my contract for 3 years, pay $249 and I am locked into a contract that I pay roughly $90 a month for is quite the money hole right? Well with the QuickPwn 2.1 and a little help from iPhoneInCanada I have successfully Jailbroken … Continue Reading »

One of the features that can be useful at times of bordem is that the Apple 3G iPhone plays back video (and at an impressive quality as well) and it has been my mission to learn how to properly rip my DVDs to MP4 format so that I can play them in my Apple 3G iPhone.
From a previous post of mine I had people mention that Handbrake is by far … Continue Reading »

One of the most popular uses of today’s cellphones is the ability to send text messages (or SMS). More and more people are finding it easier to send text messages to their friends than dialing their number and calling them. Text messaging is also more convenient than calling especially if you just want to ask someone where they are, how their day is, or where you should meet.
Apple 3G iPhone’s … Continue Reading »

One of my favorite forms of entertainment has always been movies and even though I have had a 3rd generation Apple iPod Nano for a while now I have not really thought about loading a movie on to it only to watch it on a 2†screen. Sure the screen is one of the clearest in Apple’s product line-up for its size, but still 2†screen is pretty small. Then … Continue Reading »

With people ranting and raving about the release of the Apple iPhone 3G to Canada through Rogers and Fido I had my ideas about why I would not see an Apple iPhone in my future. The stylish, ultra sexy 3G capable cell phone has seen its share of lust and ridicule and it has come to the point where a previous post of mine is now invalid. That is right, … Continue Reading »

As many people know today (July 11th) marks the day that Apple officially releases the second generation iPhone to the masses and already people are lining up here on the west coast of North America to go into further debt of this new geeky gadget. Though how many people will not buy purchasing a new iPhone? Are you willing to renew your contract with your local cellular carrier to get … Continue Reading »
