With people ranting and raving about the release of the Apple iPhone 3G to Canada through Rogers and Fido I had my ideas about why I would not see an Apple iPhone in my future. The stylish, ultra sexy 3G capable cell phone has seen its share of lust and ridicule and it has come to the point where a previous post of mine is now invalid. That is right, … Continue Reading »

As many people know today (July 11th) marks the day that Apple officially releases the second generation iPhone to the masses and already people are lining up here on the west coast of North America to go into further debt of this new geeky gadget. Though how many people will not buy purchasing a new iPhone? Are you willing to renew your contract with your local cellular carrier to get … Continue Reading »

I came across a really weird issue with my little sister's computer today and thought I would share my experience to see if anyone else has experienced something similar or perhaps might have a solution for the issue. For the moment her computer looks like it will have to be formatted and have the OS reinstalled, though I would rather not have to do that.
Her computer is running Windows XP … Continue Reading »

Now I have tried a few MP3 players out there and I have had nothing that has come close to the feel and durability of the Apple iPod Nano. Granted they may not be entirely durable but the ease of use has not been matched by another MP3 player in my opinon.
Some of you might have remembered an older post of mine when I received a 4GB Apple iPod Nano … Continue Reading »

I have been looking at various cellphones lately (recently did a review on the Sony Ericsson K850i) and I have been recently informed that Sony Ericsson has unveiled the first ever 8.1 megapixel camera phone. That's right a cellphone that currently out does the resolution of my current digital camera, though not by much.
The new C905 Cyber-shotâ„¢ from Sony Ericsson allows consumers around the world to capture and share vivid … Continue Reading »

Today I decided to walk to the local Subway (Eat Fresh) to pick up myself a tasty 12 inch sub for my dinner and since the weather was decent I thought I would take my new Sony Ericsson W580i and test out the 2.0 Mega Pixel camera that is built into it.
Now I am not expecting the greatest in quality for a 2.0 MP camera phone but it will definitely … Continue Reading »

I've been wanting to get a new cellphone for some time now and thought it would be a good time just to jump in and get a phone. Sure I researched a bit between the phones that are available and people's opinions about them but I also had to take into account my budget for a new phone.
I am a customer of Rogers Wireless (yea there are goods and bads) … Continue Reading »

My girlfriend (Robyn) received an Apple iPod Nano (3rd generation) for her birthday back in October and has never gotten the chance to use it. Why? Unfortunately she does not own a computer (which isn't a bad thing) so she hasn't been able to load any music on it.
Now the quirk I found with this particular Nano is that when I went to go plug it into my computer via … Continue Reading »

As more people make the move to electronic forms of payment, buyer beware! Well not really, just be careful with using your debt (interac) bank card. Recently my little sister was a victim of such a electronic theft.
It has been happening more often it seems and for it to happen to someone close to me it can be a bit nerve racking. My sister (Katie) told me that when she … Continue Reading »
