Since Vancouver won the Bid for the 2010 Winter Olympics they came out with license plates to show off your love of the Winter Olympics. I picked mine up today as I had to renew my insurance before midnight tomorrow though there is a first time fee of $35 and a yearly renewal fee of $25 but I think it is pretty cool to have a set of these plates

Well I had a website all made up for them, but after talking to the GM of the building a bit more he wanted to go with a MySpace page so that people could add their page to their friends list etc. … Continue Reading »

In my various travels around in the interweb and hop-scotching I came across a relatively new social networking site geared towards bloggers; BlogCatalog.
Now a lot of people out there in the blogosphere use MyBlogLog but it does have its limitations and they might be a little behind in making their site more of a community than just a bunch of avatars and links to each other’s blogs. This is where … Continue Reading »

As you might have noticed you wouldn’t have been able to get to my blog this morning, Rod Templeton’s blog or any other site that we might be hosting on the same server. That was because there was a scheduled power outage at the building that the web server is being hosted at. It seems that BC Hydro was to do some upgrades to a transformer near or on the … Continue Reading »

There are a lot of people out there who want to earn money by blogging or who have earned a lot of money with their blogs. Then there are a lot more people who have earned next to nothing blogging. I am one of those. I don’t blog to earn money but earning money while blogging would be a nice source of extra income.

This post might be a bit graphic for some viewers, viewer's discretion is advised!
Today I went for my appointment with the surgeon who operated on my Achilles tendon. Now what I thought was to happen was that my cast was to come off and my aluminum or steel stitches were to be removed. But what happened was they cut an access area into the back of my cast slightly larger … Continue Reading »

Well since I am a PageRank 5 and want to give a little of it back to those who have helped me out I have coded up a Top Commentators link on the left column that will work on a month by month basis. Like the WordPress plugin it does not have the no-follow attribute so that Google will crawl the names that are listed when the little spiders do … Continue Reading »
