I am planning about a week-long trip and will be staying at the Banana Azul. I’ve been many places in the Caribbean and a few places in Central America, but never Costa Rica. I am SO GLAD I found your blog with all the great info and beautiful photos. Not only do I know I’m picking the right place to stay, but all of the information has helped me with some questions I had and deciding on certain excursions to try out. I’m so glad you went river rafting. Although somewhat scary at times, it is exhilarating, especially when you make it safely through some some rapids.
