Dine Out Vancouver 2009

One of theĀ  more popular events in the new year here in Vancouver is Dine Out Vancouver. Dine Out Vancouver offers more than 190 restaurants around the Metro Vancouver area with a specialty menu which allows you to sample what these fine-dinning venues have to offer. The prices are not bad either, I mean for $18, $28 or $38 per person for a three-course dinning experience is pretty good value.

Have you been eying that fancy restaurant but haven’t been able to afford their high prices? Between January 14th (today) to February 1st you now can choose as many places you want to dine out at and try their delicious creations without breaking your bank. Be sure to check out their list of participating restaurants, they also have hotel specials in case you are coming from further out.

Robyn and I plan on making reservations within the next day, hopefully we haven’t missed out this year. We’re looking forward on dining at places we normally wouldn’t go. Looking forward to some Thai and French cuisine.

What about you?

All the restaurants we want are still accepting reservations as of today.

I think it is a shame that most of my favourite restaurants book up and I can’t eat a normal meal there. This month I’ll be avoiding eating out and sadly, no dine out experience for me :(

I’d recommend Blue Water Cafe, West, Cin Cin and Provence! :)

I need to check this out assuming the restaurants aren’t all booked up.

Just went to The Hamilton Street Grill for dinner on saturday and tried there dine out menu. Was very good! Had the chowder to start, filet mignon and the Warm Gingerbread Pudding. Very Tasty! My bf tried the sablefish and the chocolate mousse and thought those were very good as well. Our dining experience there was very nice. Atmosphere was great!

Just went to Sip Restro Lounge for there Dine Out Menu and I highly recommend it! Crab cakes, Maple Sake Salmon and Cheese cake were all amazing!! I think we almost had every cocktail and martini on there drink menu. You cant go wrong with anyone you choose! Atmosphere was really nice, and the staff were really friendly! Great first impression!

Sounds like you had fun! I’ll be writing my little review of our trip to Thai House on Robson St.
