Do You Hear What I Hear?

Written By Tyler Ingram on Dec 04, 2008

It seems that with moving and organizing we’re also slowly decorating for the Christmas Season. Robyn and I are both excited to spending our first Christmas Season together in our first place together. Even though we started dating in December of 2007 we didn’t really spend the Christmas Season last year together so this year is quite special for us and as mentioned above we’re both quite happy and excited about it.

Christmas Music

XM Mp3Player

That’s right, I finally get to listen to some Christmas music this year courtesy of a Pioneer XM Radio MP3 player I received and hooked up to our entertainment system. With XM Satellite radio we have over 150 channels of various types of music including at least 3 Christmas music channels which I’m pretty psyched about. You can actually receive a Free microSD card (value at $20) as well as save $50 on service and activation if you purchase one before December 31st 2008! Check It Out!

Christmas Decorations

My family in previous years normally started decorating on my Brother’s birthday which is December 5th (or so I thought we started it then) so since we’re close to that we’re been slowly adding some Christmas decorations around our new apartment. Robyn and her Dad purchased some beautiful Poinsettias from a garden wholesaler, West Coast Gardens in Surrey, BC.

So how are you getting ready for this Christmas holiday season? Have you begun to set up the decorations? Are you one of those people who set up their decorations before December or last minute setup? If you don’t celebrate the Christmas season what do you do for the winter season? I’m curious what other people do and would love to hear from you about it!

Do you have any items on your Wish List this year? I know the things on my Wish List are realitively expensive starting a prices like $1200 and up. Though I would be more than happy just to have a great time with friends and family not to mention the great ski/snowboarding season coming up too!

Top of the my wish list is a laptop for work, which will probably run > $2000 ( Sean wants a fancy laptop ). The rest of what I want is either camera gear ( lenses, mostly ) or is a book, graphic novel, or movie.

I used to love decorating, but now it seems like more of a chore. Luckily, I missed the holiday decorating with my family this year in favor of some black Friday shopping. As for my wish list, I’d love some warm weather…so maybe a vacation!
