I'm shocked to see a harbour seal this far up river! What time of day were you there? I've gone up 2x (early Dec, and just yesterday) around 12 PM and there weren't any birds by the river. Solid stuff! This seems like the kind of place where if there were fish running in the streams you could get a cool one of an eagle with a fish! Tough call on the JPEG / RAW argument there - I don't really have an answer other then keep doing what you're doing because these pictures are rad! There is (at least one) eagle around here, that every once in a while I see playing with a couple of ravens. Always in the same spot and at the same times of the year. Eagles are amazing creatures.
