Emerging out of the Shadows: I have returned

Ok after close a month’s time of being MIA I have come back to the lovely world of the web, or is it now the Interweb? Anyway I am the process of moving out (it’s going slow) in order to save myself some money so I can perhaps purchase a place of my own and feel like I’m accomplishing things in life.

So what have I been up to during my little hiatus? Nothing too spectacular, I have two websites that people have asked me to help with, one is on the back-burner until one of their events is completed and they have more time to talk to me about what it is they want me to do.

I helped my Dad install his new 50" Toshiba Plasma display and read up on the various technologies that I am relatively new to in regards to HDTV.  HDMI is definitely the way to go and having 10.2GB/s bandwidth is great for those who want almost picture-perfect quality.  Watching all those HD channels that Shaw offers is just great! I can’t wait for more HD channels to come out and to be able to purchase at least a 32" HDTV. I should add that to my wish-list though I still want my Canon Digital Rebel Xt first!

I’ve added little DIGG THIS buttons to the left of the Comment counter for each post. I’m not a big Digger but I thought I might one day write something worthy to be Dugg by hundreds!

I’ve also changed my partial RSS feed to a full RSS feed, though I haven’t totally tested it, it should be working without too many issues.

What else do I need to add to this site? The ability to search! I should look into using MySQL’s Full Text and incorporate it into a search type function with PHP that will rate the relevancy of the terms used.

Update: I somehow broke the Digg code, though I currently cannot figure out why…
