Exotic Dancers for Cancer

Written By Tyler Ingram on Feb 18, 2007

It seems recently there has been some controversy with a local Vancouver group known as Exotic Dancers For Cancer (ED4C) and a donation they were willing to give to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada which whom declined because they (BCSC) "have decided not to accept any donations from what donors consider controversial sources."

These ladies have raise $3000 in order to donate the money to a very worthy cause and yet they declined it! Why does it matter where the money come from? There were good intentions behind it and it is going to a charity that affects or has affected a lot of people.

Luckily Exotic Dancers for Cancer (ED4C) has been able to find another Cancer Charity that would be more than happy to accept their donation: ReThink Breast Cancer.

ED4C is also putting on a charity event at the Drake Show Lounge March 04, 2007 where partial proceeds will be going to ReThink and the rest to a wonderful woman by the name of Lady Sable who is a former exotic dancer fighting ovarian cancer for the second time.

Well this is happening tonight and yes I noticed that the poster said it was last year, but that was a typo and I never did get one that was corrected.

Turn out should be huge as well as the media coverage for it too.
