Google Changes Page Ranks Drastically

Written By Tyler Ingram on Oct 27, 2007

Well over the past little bit there has been some talk about Google’s infamous page rank and how popular blogs’ rankings have plummeted. Well it seems mine (although not as popular as say ProBlogger) has dropped 2 whole rankings!

It makes me sad; the PR of 5 that I had is now a PR of 3! Well I suppose that can be understandable since my posting frequency hasn’t been all that spectacular and because of that I do not have as many people linking back to me as I am linking out.

So has your Google Page Rank changed at all?

    Hi

Google Page Rank has danced a lot this PR update. My website gone down to PR1 from PR3 and this update it seems to get back its original PR3.

You have a great website and I too have one on which I write on SE marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Website and Product reviews etc.

    My Website Url is BollyBall.

If you are interested, please comment on my blog.

    Regards
    Saurabh

I know having a PR of 5 was important to you but the quality of your site hasn’t changed. I wouldn’t let the PR thing worry you too much.

I’m not seeing any changes in PR on my site, although I did see two sites go from a PR5 to PR3.
