Google Pays Out

Writen By Tyler Ingram on Dec 06, 2008

ForĀ  many of you who read Tyler Ingram dot Com you know that I do have some ads, in fact there is on in this post. It seems people out there in the blogosphere (not all of you though) try to generate some sort of revenue with advertising on your site be it with Google’s AdSense, TextLinkAds, Chikita, other affiliates or even by selling private ad space. Well I know it is a bit late but I did finally receive my first Google AdSense cheque back in November which means in October I reached the $100 payout mark.

Me and Google
My First Google AdSense Cheque

Google Adsense pays out their users when they reach a minimum of $100. Now this doesn’t mean your cheques are all going to be $100 or so dollars, but when you reach the $100 minimum you will get a cheque for your balance the following month. So if you make over $132,000 like Shoemoney did within the pay period, they will issue you a cheque the following month for that amount.

Now for me it took about 1.5 years to reach the $100 minimum payout amount and I was pretty excited to know I would be receiving a cheque from Google. Now what I have to figure out is how I can significantly increase the amount so I can see a more steady monthly revenue flow from Google and not have to wait so long for my payout.

Who knows, perhaps I’ll buckle down and see if I can get some advertising revenue generated without it being too intrusive. Perhaps having about 4 blogs might help me too to establish a better online income.

Yes the above photo isn’t the sharpest and it is hard to make out the cheque amount but it is for $106 US, which is what about $400 CND or something now? lol

If you use Google AdSense, when did you receive your first AdSense payout and how much was it for?
