I just realized that when someone clicks on one of the Google Adsense ads in any part of my site that it opens that page in the current window.
I couldn’t find it but I’m out on the hunt for the ability to target where the link goes. I would love it to be able to open a new window/tab so that this site is still visable and they do not need to navigate back to it.
HTML
<a href="http://targetsite.com target="_blank">targetsite.com</a>
Is that so hard? Perhaps I can find the answer soon and report back, unless someone out there in cyber land knows?

Don’t screw with Google’s code. Not a good idea if you want to stay on the program. They’ve kicked people off for less than this, especially if you’re still in the “Sandbox”.

Well I don’t plan on screwing with the code. I couldn’t handle being kicked out.Popularity is everything nowadays on the web.
But I will look into seeing if they perhaps will one day offer the ability to open a new window. I’m not only saying this as a person who runs a site, but as a person who would be more willing to click on other AdSense ads if they wouldnt screw with the way I browse

Ya don’t worry I won’t mess with the AdSense code. Besides I’ve got $2 bank with it! Woo for advertising! I need to find a program that will accept me and allow me to customize the ads. More in the way in what industry the ads are for.
