Having Fun In The Sun With A Canon EOS 350D
Ok so yesterday the weather was just gorgeous and I decided to go for a walk around the local neighborhood and down to the municipal airport. Now I didn’t take breathe taking, magnificent photos but it was nice to be able to get out and take some photos of the local scenery with the Canon EOS 350D.
Now these images have been shrunk to fit within my blogging margins but out of the 94 photos I took these are the most interesting. Most of the photos I took were of the various aircraft that was parked outside on the tarmac.
Now if the weather steadily improves over the next little bit I will be taking road trips to Downtown Vancouver where the skyline is one of the more fun things to shoot. I will also have to look at a new way of sharing my photos via my site without having to resort to Flickr or Webshots. Perhaps I’ll look into coding up a small Flash script to handle photos in a post.

Hey man, nice photos. I especially like the last one
Also just curious what was written on that plaque beside the rose?
“IN MEMORY OF WIN MURRAY
LOVING WIFE AND DEVOTED MOTHER
BORN IN LONDON ENGLAND 1917
DIED IN PITT MEADOWS 2006
A PROUD LONDONER “
Fantastic pictures… I’ve been trying my hand at photography with my xti–put my pictures on my other blog: http://www.servingbread.net
Oh I’ll definitely have to check that out! I love photography, I just wish the weather was not so rainy lately.
Very nice, Ty. I like the first one… did you use a tripod? Filters? Do tell…
Didn’t do anything special, I climbed down the breakwater and pointed the camera directly at the sun
Yea I’m sure its not good for the sensor but I like the effect of what the Aperture did.
