If I Were A Dot Com Mogul
If I were a Dot Com Mogul what would I do on sunny days like today? Well I would move myself outside and bask in the sun. I would also make sure I brought my camera along so I could take pictures like these two.
The downside to using a laptop is that fact you run on batteries. Now you would think a fully-charged lithium battery would last at least an hour to two, right? WRONG! The battery of the laptop I am using lasted at most 30 minutes! It didn’t really give me much time to work let alone enjoy the sunny weather here in Vancouver. And to think, all I had running was MSN Messenger Live and Firefox how is that supposed to drain a battery?
Man, I’ve got a HP DV9000 with AMD Turion64 X2 and the battery lasts about 45 minutes with the battery being used and the wireless internet being used. It’s sad, my old Dell D800 lasted 3-4 hours!
yea it is pretty sad how much power the wireless cards take huh? I could use a product we have at work, but that would require me to bring out an extension cord and I might as well not use the batter.
How can I work from a laptop wirelessly if it isn’t going to last very long?
do you have a reeeealllly long extension cord?
i love working in the back yard. but i can only do it on the weekends. if i become a dot com mogul i’ll post all my back yard work pics 
Well I do have a long power cord extension though typical outdoor cords are not really designed for things that are supposed to be indoors. Perhaps I’ll do it anyway, it’s not my laptop
