I have recently heard that they seem to rush people more and more now and the service hasn’t been all too great. The manager of Characters was quite accommodating and helpful when we showed up after we left Stepho’s. I would still like to try Stepho’s though and see what the hype is all about. Though I think the hype is the low prices though.

Tried Stepho’s for lunch on Monday. I’ve always had a fondness for the place from way back but this time the service was lacking. Granted, it was busy but after getting our table, it took awhile to get our water and order in. The food was still good and the price right but we never got our bill. We just left the money on the table. Maybe it was good that the reservation was lost. That way you were not subjected to bad service.

Thanks Roshan for proving me wrong! I’m glad that it is an Indian dish and not one of those dishes said to be of a particular ethnic food (like pizza etc) lol

I’ll be making Butter Chicken again on this Wednesday

Not sure. It’s a Punjabi dish as far as I know. Maybe the way that they make it in certain places are an offshoot of the original recipe. But, all this talk about Butter chicken is making me crave for some. I haven’t had it in ages.

Why is it always separate from other Indian dishes then on menus I see? At Characters it was below and outside of the listing of Indian dishes on the menu. I thought it wasn’t a true Indian dish, if I am wrong then so be it! I love it nonetheless! lol

Well it seems sometime losing a reservation can be a good thing. You can try a place or something you normally wouldn’t

You should try Takkis, down the street from Stephos. You might wait, but I think the food is much better. I usually get their Calamari dinner. YUM.

Yea we were all looking forward to eating there too. I’ve read how they aren’t the best Greek in town but for the cheapest Greek in town they are pretty darn good. Though I have been wanting to try it out for sometime. To be denied something I want is not a good thing.
