New Poll: Why Do You Blog

Writen By Tyler Ingram on May 08, 2007

I was thinking more about it and I thought I would pose the question the the visitor and readers out there: Why do you blog?

I blog because I find it fun and it is a decent hobby. It also allows me to stay up to day in the world of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and also allows me to think of new things that I can do to the site to make it more fun and interesting.

So please answer the poll that is on the left side column of this blog and if you wish to discuss anything please by all means leave a comment or two.

The results of my first (previous) blog are:

Total Votes: 11

Blue was the most popular colour on my poll winning at 45.45%

Green and Other were tied for second place at 27.27%

It was just a test of the poll system that I coded up and I thank those who participated!

  • Nice blog my friend, and thanks for taking time to comment on my site.
I will be subscribing to your rss from now.
    regards.
    Guillermo.

  • Thanks for stopping by! I like you site and will definitely follow it since I love playing with Linux.

  • I blog for two reasons. Firstly it gives me an obvious place to note my thoughts and collect resources on a subject I love. Secondly, it makes me focus on the quality of those notes - as they are public - in a way I wouldn’t if it were a closed document.
A side effect is that quite a community builds around my notebook, adding more useful resources.
As far as the poll goes - I’m probably a ’sharing news’

  • Make sense. Never really looked at it in the form of a notebook :)
