Photo of the Day: Bayshore Landscaping

The landscaping around the Bayshore area of Coal Harbour is quite pretty and soothing, at least to me anyway. It seems that the variey of Condo buildings around the Coal Harbour area imploy a lot of water-based gardens. This particular one near the Westin Bayshore Hotel boasts an intricate maze of little water ways that eventually spill out around the property.

I’m going to have to go back there and do some long-exposures I think, a cottony effect might look quite cool.

Typically I like to post one photo for the Photo of the Day, but there is something about the scene in the above photo that I liked and wanted to share. Unfortunately due to the lighting, I had to apply the Camera+ Clairty filter on the photo to hvae more of scene show up properly.  Can’t have it all with the iPhone right? The mix of the ever-greens, Japanese maple and waterfall/pond is also relaxing to look at even with the hussle of the hotel behind it.
