Photo of the Day: BNSF Trains in White Rock

Written By Tyler Ingram on Jul 29, 2011

Summer Train

If you’re ever in White Rock walking along the Promenade then you probably have seen one of many trains go by. Daily, trains make the trek from Washington State through White Rock to the Coal terminal in Tsawwasan. Though while walking the Promenade I can’t help shake my head when people find it funny to make a late mad-dash across the tracks as a train makes its way through. Glad to see CN Police making there rounds though. Trains can’t exactly stop on a dime, and these coal trains can be 100+ cars long.
