On Sunday, for Robyn’s mum’s birthday we headed over to the VanDusen Botanical Garden in Vancouver to check out the recent Sakura Day Japan Festival. The weather was not the greatest, but it did manage to keep the rain away while we wondered around the gardens. I have never been to the gardens before, but I can’t wait for later in the season when more of the garden comes to life.
The above photo is a hand-held, 3-exposure HDR of one of the gazebos over looking a small lake. This is the first day of me not having my Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8L IS lens. I brought along my EF 50mm f1.8, EF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 IS and the EF 75-300mm f3.5-5.6. I will be uploading some more photos later from our little trip around the gardens.
