Pickton Jury almost complete
I heard over the radio that the Jury for the Robert Pickton Murder Trail has been almost completed selected. 11 of 12 jurors have been selected with one juror and two alternatives left to be selected.
Each juror was been selected out of about 600+ people and was suppose to take much longer than it did. Though I am glad I was not one, because they have been served with a subpoena for a session in jury duty for one year.
I don’t think its worth the time off of work to be on the jury. According to the above article on CBC’s website it says that they get $20 a day for the first two months and then later receive $100 a day? That definately doesn’t make up for the bills.
