Running Vancouver Seawall Photos
As I wait for the Rogers.ca site to work properly so I can see whether or not I have killed my cell phone’s wireless essentials plan I thought I would pull off the photos from Robyn’s and mine most recent jog around the Stanley Park Seawall from the other evening. The following photos were taking with my Sony Ericsson W580i cell phone which surprisingly still does a pretty decent job at taking quick snaps.
Granted the photos are slightly touched up in photoshop but nothing more that what other people might do to a digital photo such as: correct horizon, light up, perhaps add some sharpening, and the occasional crop.

Popular Stanley Park Landmark: Siwash Rock
So there, a few photos and views of the Stanley Park Seawall which I have come to enjoy as I hang out more in the WestEnd of Vancouver. Actually jogging the Seawall is probably more fun than the jogging I do on the dikes, perhaps it’s the smell of the ocean? Who knows, but we definitely try not to hit the Seawall during the busy sunny periods if we can avoid it. Too many tourists out and about to get in a decent jog without having to play Dodge The Tourist (weaving in and out of the randomly moving people).
They’re awesome photos considering there were taken with a phone camera. Mine only does a reasonable job for close ups. Distance shots are pretty bad. Shocking actually. Especially like the sunset photo btw
The photos are a lot better than the ones my Motorola Razr took, then again that camera was VGA quality (640×480)whereas the Sony Ericsson W580i is 2 MP. Though I do believe it is 2MP interpolated so it’s a fake 2MP
Still not bad when I’m out and about and want to take a snap, though it then reminds me how I wish I brought my regular digicam out.
