Brennan - True but I as a company I think would want to know if my customers are having issues so I can try and justify things.

Derek - Wow, that's pretty cool. Nice to see they back up their product!

The experience I was blown away by was when I posted about a DVD exploding inside my computer, I posted pics that included the inside of the machine. I don't even think I mentioned it was a Dell but you could see the Dell logo inside the machine. I was contacted by Dell and they sent me a brand new replacement DVD drive free of charge, and I wasn't even bad mouthing them.

I tend not to talk about companies that treat me poorly or that I recieved poor service from. I do this not to be tactful but rather off of the old saying "there is no such thing as bad publicity". There are so many good companies out there that are willing to go that extra mile too insure repeat business. I tend to talk about them.

Funny you should ask that. Some of my restaurant reviews are very negative (see Las Margaritas for but one example). I just complained about Steamworks being too expensive for what they offer in my review of Green Drinks. The thing is, the power of the blogosphere can be harnessed for good or evil. It all depends on how you use The Force, Luke. I am glad you had a good response. I have still yet to try it on e-machines!
