Visitors Drop As No Content Gets Added In A Week

Written By Tyler Ingram on Apr 09, 2007

Funny how that works right? I haven’t posted anything in a week and my traffic drops, well not significantly but it’s enough to show my drop in Google’s Analytics. So some of you might have asked, How come there are no new postings? Where have you been hiding?

The Details.com Nick Pruett's Spin on the Blogging Community

Well I don’t really have an explanation, I have not really found anything interesting to post since my last post and I have not really been home either to write any new posts if I were to find something to write about. It is a bit of a shame right? Well it happens and I don’t want to really post useless tidbits of information, or do I already post useless tidbits?

Well according to Nick Pruett he mentions in his blog that I have random interesting posts and great photos. This surprised me; I was actually Googling my name and ran across his posting about my blog in the top 10 results. Yes I Google my name occasionally, I like to see what results are spit back.

Anyway I would like to say thank you to Nick for doing a review of my blog and I hope I can get more reviews of my blog so that I can add linkback’s to the authors.

Nick is a great guy. I like the review he did of you. I haven’t posted in 3 days and I am panicking. I overwhelm easily. LOL.

P.S. What do you use to get the avatars in the comments? I have tried a couple plugins and none of them worked for me. I am using Brian’s Threaded Comments too. I love how your comments look!

I looked at the code for the WordPress plugin (I don’t use WordPress) and copied the code from that and added it into this.

I actually turned it into a little function but if you like I can email you the function I used from the WordPress plugin

I use Bloglines to subscribe to your blog, but your new posts don’t appear anymore! Lame!
