A buddy of mine was looking over my site today and come across a very odd ad from Google’s Adsense.
Now I am not sure what it says though I am assuming it is in Japanese and hopefully someone might be able to shed some light on it. Though by looking at the image and the large word ‘IPOD’, it seems that AdSense is reading previous posts (Apple iPod Round 2 & Early Christmas Present: Apple iPod Nano) and baseing the ad on that. Though looking at the image it doesn’t look like it has anything to do with Apple’s iPods, or does it?
Has anyone seen weird AdSense ads like this? Now my AdSense account has a total of $5.57 USD in it and that is since day one of starting my site. Which is silly, why do I bother with the AdSense or any of the other advertising if they make me next to nothing?

It does seem frustrating at times to have AdSense implemented on your site and not be making much with it. I’ve only made a little bit more than you with my site but since my site is only a few months old, I’ll continue to use it.
Oddly enough, I seem to have the most clicks when I have gone a day without posting.

A couple of points first the add is for a japanese blog. and the actual item is a lanyard for ipod nanos I believe. As for the Ads and their respective revenue. Everyone thinks the ads will generate great revenue that will offset our bandwidth cost but in reality they don’t. Oh and don’t forget that the government taxes that revenue as well. So remember to declare it. LOL
