Who’s John Chow and why am I writing about him? Well John Chow is the owner and operator of The TechZone (he’s Moto for those who don’t know), an electronic hardware review site that is situated in Vancouver, British Columbia. John also runs a personal Blog (www.JohnChow.com) where he talks about a lot of various topics.
The topics that John talks about in his blog that seem to be the most helpful to me as well as to others has been his on-going series: The Art of Creating Content. This on-going series has proved helpful in starting and maintaining a blog type site. He comments on various aspects such as Source of Content, Content’s Post Length and Frequency as well as The Easiest Way To Add Google AdSense On a Blog. All of these topics and more provided a better understanding in the world of blogging.
Various other topics he talks about relate to things from everyday life (Dine Out Vancouver 2007) to his earning for the month of December 2006 (Making Money From a Blog – December Recap). Each post has its own unique twist and plethora of information that can be used by new bloggers to those who have been blogging for years.
But why am I talking about John Chow? What is in it for me? Well John is up to his ninth batch of reviews for his site by other bloggers. The good thing is that each blogger gets a permanent link on John’s site that does not have the rel=”nofollow” tag on the link so that web crawlers such as Google will follow and index which should help increase fellow blogger’s PageRanks as well as link popularity with sites such as Technorati.
So following the trend of reviewers for John Chow, I thought I would take a stab and see what I could come up with. Sure it isn’t the best review but it does give a little glimpse into Miscellaneous Ramblings of a Dot Com Mogul.

Tyler, nice review of John’s site. His site has been very helpful to me and is a big reason why my PR jumped recently.
Keep up the good work on your site.

Looks like my long URL messed up the look (in Firefox at least), whoops
My bad…
By the way, do you allow HTML codes in the comments (like a href, etc.)?

I currently strip all HTML tags, but perhaps I’ll look into adding URLs so people can link on comments.
I see what you mean about the long URL. It overflowed, I guess I can look at fixing that too!
Now on to check out the review!
