Alright if you are someone who follows me on Twitter, you might have seen me mention that I planned on running a contest on my blog for some lucky person to win a Samsung Bluetooth Stereo Headset (SBH170) and today would be that day I mention on my blog how you can win your very own Samsung Bluetooth Stereo Headset.
Why would I want to give away such a great prize?
I was given the headset (along with a Samsung MP3 player) as part of a marketing campaign a little while ago and after trying out this headset I found that I really had no use for it. I still prefer my Apple iPod Nano to the Samsung T10. Sure the Samsung has Bluetooth capabilities which allows you to use devices such as this headset, but unfortunately I will be sticking to my iPod Nano.
The Prize!
The Samsung Bluetooth Stereo Headset (SBH170) is the style that wraps around the back of your head and rests on your ears. The Bluetooth capability of the headset I thought was pretty cool. I could walk away from the Samsung T10 at about 10 feet and still get the music to play though them without quality loss. You can also use the headset for Wireless Phone Calls and as a Remote Control. It also comes with an AC adapter so you can easily charge up the Li-Ion battery which can allow you up to 10 hours of talk/music time with 170 hours of standby time. Pretty impressive huh?
How do I win this awesome prize?
Do you own a blog? Then the rules are fairly simple and similar to other blog contests out there. All that I require is the following:

- If you want a 2nd entry to better your chance in winning the Samsung Bluetooth Headset then write small review of my blog. I can take criticism, honestly I can! You can talk about the good, the bad, the ugly or the impressive. It’s up to you. Though of course I would prefer to hear good things. There is no minimum or maximum words for your review. You can even write about my blog posts that you believe other people will find interesting.
- If you do write a review of my blog for your 2nd entry to increase your chance of winning then you must link to my blog (www.tyleringram.com) using the following bit of text: Tyler Ingram, a Metro Vancouver based Web Developer – How you use it is up to you. Possible bonus points for creativity.
There you have it, I’ve revamped the contest rules and made it extremely easy to enter this contest. All you need to do is comment and you’re entered! If you want to better you chance at winning, then write a small blog review of my site following step 2 and 3 above.

I really could need this headset as i don’t have a phone and my laptop’s micro is not working well, but unfortunately i don’t have a blog.
So I probably have to bye one, for about 4 times as much as i would have to pay at home in Germany.

Jefo this headset does not have a mic. It is just a bluetooth stereo headset listen to use for when listening to music.

Actually Jefo I think you are right. It makes mention that you can ‘mute’ the microphone on and off and it does have a ‘Talk Time’ life of up to 10 hours.
If I look closer I am going to assume the small hole neat to the Left ear piece is the mic. Though I cannot find mention of the microphone’s specifications in the manual.
Bonus then right, if it comes with a Mic? lol
